If there is one tool I use every day and recommend to all of my clients, it is Notational Velocity. Introduced to this at Avaaz, where my computer was my office and I used no paper, this became indispensable.
Need to jot down a quick note, quickly access information you need to frequently refer back to or anything that you’d typically write on paper, Notational Velocity is your tool. It has a full search capacity. Just typing in a word related to something you wrote will bring up any note containing that.
